Starsector, formerly known as "Starfarer" (before conversion back to the project presented here), is a new MMORPG, fighting mixed with special touches and 3D real-time strategy, with an atmosphere of the most attractive kind: the universe as the final frontier.

As a definitive "sandbox" game, Starsector offers a completely open world you can explore on your own ... as you have your own space cruiser with which to do it, of course. Because in Starsector not only have you to create and develop a character to pilot your ship, but also build your own fleet of space cruisers. The ships can be customized to your needs, and you can evolve and improve them as you progress through the game.

But the enormity of space offered in Starsector will amaze you, don't worry, because the gameplay is meant in Starsector to go slowly, learning to move between systems, to fly and fight, or even to decide what kind of game you like most. You can play Starsector like a space shooter, giving the necessary orders to all members of your crew, as a strategy game creating your galactic empire almost from scratch, or move from conflict to conflict and become an intergalactic merchant, for which Starsector even offers its own economic simulation model.
